Cornish Coffee Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a full time Credit Controller to join our Accounts team working in Cornwall.

We are part of an international coffee service organisation with operations in a dozen European countries and roasting facilities in Belgium and the U.K. We specialise in tailored solutions for the out of  home  customer, providing the finest coffee and hot beverages , world class coffee machines , and the highest levels of account management, technical and service and coffee quality support.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Process daily bank statements for all sites (Team share).
  • Cash & Cheque banking as required (Team share).
  • Dispatch for all sites – check and release orders. Chase accounts as required (Team share).
  • Monitoring incoming emails within the shared email box and actioning as required, along with those in your personal email box.
  • Process both returned stock and account credits notes (Team share).
  • Process card payments for all UK Branches (Team share).
  • Day to day filing of all delivery notes and account related files (Team share).
  • Answer incoming phone calls.
  • Answering day to day queries as they come in, taking ownership until complete.
  • Deal with equipment billing queries as they arise; amending rental contracts if needed and updating notes on individual customer accounts.
  • Run monthly rental invoices.
  • Setting up of Worldpay payments for machine rentals with customers in selective regions.
  • Complete credit checks for new account applications and recording the results on SAP, amending account terms to be amended if required.
  • Input of sale orders.
  • Run Monthly Statements – both via e-mail and mail for all UK branches.
  • Run  Monthly Aged Debtors – Spread sheets to be raised for all UK branches.
  • Run Mid Month – run Debt Chase letters for all UK branches.
  • Chase all customers who are overdue – prioritising the oldest and the largest.
  • Liaise with all other departments to resolve queries and assist where required.
  • Take Legal Action as required to recover debts.
